The starting point of the Program is a laboratory of ideas with research staff, companies and consumers that will define the challenges through design thinkingmethodology.
This medtodology follows a creative process of solving people-centered problems, observing the needs of users in order to offer effective and viable solutions.
It consists of three workshops:
- Empathise: During the first steps, it is necessary to reach an empathic understanding of the problem to solve. This involves engaging and empathising with people to gather information on their experiences, motivations and needs.
- Ideate: The ideation is the part of the process where the focus is placed on the idea generation. The thinkers, then, can start to "think outside the box" to identify new solutions to the problem statement.
- Test: The testing phase is when feedback about the proto-projects created is asked to users and, so, another stage of empathy is achieved for the target actors of the design.
